EAP-P offers academic skills in English language reading, writing, listening and speaking together with study skills essential in an Australian academic environment: for example, critical thinking, note-taking, giving presentations, conducting basic research and tutorial participation.
The course is designed to allow successful students a direct entry pathway into the ANU College Foundation Studies program and subsequently into undergraduate studies at The Australian National University. 2010 TUITION FEEAU$6000.00 (for 15 week program) 2011 TUITION FEEAU$6225.00 (for 15 week program) ENTRY REQUIREMENTSStudents must be at least 17 years old before they begin their studies at ANU College.
Students must have an IELTS 5.0 (with no Band Score less than 4.5), or equivalent for entry into the EAP-P program. Please note that ANU College does not provide conditional Letters of Offer for entry into this program. Students are required to submit their IELTS result at the time of application.
In addition, students intending to proceed to the ANU College Foundation Studies program must satisfy the academic requirements of the Foundation Studies Program in order to enrol in the EAP-P program. In addition, students be aware that applicants must not be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand, or hold a Temporary Resident’s visa for Australia. EAP – PATHWAY At 9:00am there will be a short Orientation session which will involve you completing some forms for administrative purposes. Approximately 10:00am a staff member of ANU College will take you on a walking tour of the ANU campus. Classes will commence at 11:30am on your first day.
