Doctor John Shellard is an Engagement and Partnerships Manager at ANU Enterprise. John works closely with ANU academics to foster research relationships, ideas and initiatives with Industry and Government.

John completed his doctoral studies in 2013 at ANU School of Philosophy looking at the history of the arguments around religious toleration and its impact in Australia. He has researched and published in the areas of political and moral philosophy, and higher education.
John has over a decade’s experience working in ANU Enterprise project delivery, project management, and business development teams, in addition to his qualifications in commercialisation.

When he’s not helping to create new executive education projects, he loves learning to play unusual musical instruments; reads history, philosophy, and science fiction; and enjoys building things in his shed.
