Marjo is the Finance Manager/Project Accountant and he is also responsible for managing the IT environment of the company.

Marjo started with ANU Enterprise in May 2000 on a 4-month contract. He was offered a permanent position in November of that year.  Marjo’s first role was as a Project Finance Officer within the Projects office. He subsequently moved to the Corporate area responsible for accounts payable and later payroll and IT.

Marjo’s day-to-day activities include keeping an eye on the company’s projects from a financial point of view, producing monthly financials for senior management and the Board, managing the production of annual financial statements and audit, and making sure IT systems at ANU Enterprise keep ticking over.   You can read more about the services and capabilities of ANU Enterprise in our Year in Review.

As Marjo is of Dutch origin, his favourite colour is orange and he delights in any conversations that involve Holland, Dutch soccer; and, if you are keen, he can sing the Dutch national anthem for you.
